BY my calculation there are approximately 25 million adult Americans who have reached the stage that I call awake. What I mean by this is people who know they are more than their ego personality identities; that they are spiritual beings on a human adventure. The Best of Health To You The commercial said “the best of us experience bladder leakage.” Does this mean I am less because I don’t leak? Then there’s the commercial where the make-believe doctor recites a long list of possible problems and tells the make-believe patient that the drug as one of its side effects could cause confusion and it that occurs, to call him. How confused would he need to be before he forgets the instructions? What then? Increasing the oxygenation of the mindbody system supports immune function. Truvia, is a new Stevia based sweetener now available on-line and in some New York state supermarkets. (www.Truvia.com) Healthcare approaches by the Presidential candidates vary widely. McCain wants more of an insurance approach with tax credits. Obama favors a system covering everyone without cost to them. Either way, since no one desires illness, allow the attention directed toward to the issue to be reminder to be do the things you know to do enhance your wellness. The journal Geophysical Researcher Letters published a study concluding that pollution is preventing global warming in Europe by reflecting the sun’s energy. Efforts to reduce pollution may be increasing global warming despite earlier theories to the contrary. Source: (www.escience.com) Many people understand the idea that their thoughts are creative. What is difficult is to keep the mind focused on the goal and not on it’s not being currently realized. It requires tremendous mental discipline to focus upon receiving and being grateful for having received/achieved the goal. Fortunately, there is a set of training wheels you can use to train your brain to be aware in the present and not get caught up in regret, worry, and other low-energy, life draining states. The training wheels are your inhale and exhale. That’s right; you can use your breathing to keep you on track. First you open up the body, restoring circulation and oxygenating cells, tissues and organs. Then you use your breathing to engage your feeling body so you can empower your emotions in behalf of goals. Now you are ready to train the mind and can more effectively use affirmation and imagery by combining them with your breathing. It sounds simple, and it is. It is also easy. Follow the steps, gaining energy and confidence as you go, and you’ll reach your destination. It’s an easy 30 days to a new you. Can you accomplish anything without energy? Of course not. Do those who are healthier and happier accomplish more that the unhealthy and unhappy? Of course they do. Is stress still the major cause of disease? Yes it is—as much as 90%. So would being able to expand your ability to handle stress be useful? Of course it would! In this column I write to the enlightened space within every person and all of my brothers and sisters who share this Earth. My long life has led me to conclude that the place of light, the gift of grace given each, can be cultivated , nurtured into a life of compassionate regard for every form of life. Speaking each month to that space within each reader is intended to “exercise” the knowing self, connect with the awakened self, the Self of all. My vision would be that by observing and engaging other humans from this space affords the best opportunity for harmonious living. Doing so quiets the mind and permits communication from the heart and mind working together. Heart communicates inclusion and understanding. Fear is overcome. Continue with you Full Wave Breathing to energetically resolve (recalibrate, reformat) cellular stored trauma and fear. In other words, get straight with yourself first. Then, consciously connect with the hearts of others, so you can “see” the space of enlightenment within. Let's assume this is one of the lifetimes where your destiny is to have financial independence. If that were so, what steps do you need to take now to have an easier time? Rather than plotting ahead, imagine you were looking back from that place of financial independence. What would you have taken care of? Don't wait. Take care of those things now. Recently I have spoken with many who have simplified their lives by cleaning out their clutter. A once a year practice of doing so pays rich dividends and increases our energy for spiritual pursuits. What would those spiritual pursuits be? The obvious answer is to take time to breathe and meditate. Yet this answer is incomplete because you engage in a spiritual pursuit whenever you bring your open-heartedness to what you are doing. Give your self more time for balance-restoring, spiritual activities and you will be more able to handle the growth of stressors in your world. Eliminate and avoid those you can, and devote time to being still to recharge your energies from excessive stress. As your Full Wave Breathing practice continues so will the challenges to your expansion arise energetically to reflect in your world. Keep breathing anyway. When as children we shut down or contracted on an issue that arose in our experience, we installed a judgment to keep the constriction in place. Now, when breathing, that judgment arises in the natural course of cleansing for our review. If we concluded at age 3, that “cats are terrible,” we may have just the passing thought or a more pleasant new encounter presented by the Universe to see if we wish to retain that judgment/opinion and the ensuing contraction of energy. Instead of cats, the issue could have been one of our innumerable “men are” or “women are” programs buried inside our biocomputer waiting to either be up-dated or re-validated. As your breathing continues, you will want to go to sleep again and forget it all. Keep breathing anyway. Ah it feel so good to be sedated, unaware, drifting and ig-norant. If ignorance IS bliss, then the folly of being wise is a powerful seduction to resist sentient inquiry or action. Such witticisms are concocted by the ig-norant for they enjoy most their own company. As your breathing continues, your mind will want to convince you to stop and do something "important." Keep breathing anyway. In a world of crisis, the next crisis calls. Forget about self-caretaking, isn’t the sky about to fall? We learn to live like “Chicken Little” running around and getting caught up in the latest concern and prediction of the sky falling down upon us. It is then only “normal” that we avoid activities of self-renewal. It is also thus normal for people to experience stress-related diseases that eventually overwhelm any healthcare system and any body. As your breathing continues, you will find yourself more detached from the goings-on in the world. Keep breathing anyway. Tuning out can be as simple as turning off the television and not getting caught up in the drama of a pubescent adult discovering her life, or who the ten hottest move stars are for this year. Taking that time to go within—breathing and meditation—creates a space away from it. Think of your mind as an airport and thoughts as planes. Don’t let thoughts that don’t directly and positively impact your wellbeing land. You are the sovereign of your mind; choose carefully who may cross your borders. As your breathing continues, you will find your compassion and joy growing. Keep breathing! To me, it is an interesting commentary that positive results promised produce less individual action than avoidance of negative consequence. Perhaps I should have worded this, as your breathing continues, and help prevent death from cancer and surgery. Energy, at once present everywhere is the spark of all life and the Source within us. IT is the source from which we draw our spiritual strength to actualize our goals of joy, health and aliveness. The teachings say that when your aura is robust, your home vibrates with your personal energy. When you aura vibrates with happiness and confidence, your home gives out the same energy becoming a source of good luck and good fortune. Following the advice of his doctors, taking his medications and walking on his treadmill did not prevent the event or save his life. It is not an unusual story and had it happened to someone less well known, neither you nor I would have even heard about it. Yet it happens every day. Continue Reading When its time for the cats to come in and I either carry them or escort them, there’s a communication going on. Usually it is, “I’m not ready,” or “I’ll do it myself.” Pick Max up and he relaxes into a “whatever’ mode and all 11.5 pounds of him goes limp. Indy is less relaxed about the procedure and squirms to walk into the house on his own power. And, from time to time, I’ll think the thought that we are done with the outdoors and the cats will head toward the door and without prompting enter entirely on their own. They are teaching me. Continue Reading A Letter from the Future—Part 2 In the worst cases, cats were taken from and testified against their former keepers as they were called. The term “owner” had been outlawed at the start. The cats preferred the term, “sharer,” though keeper was the most favored human description. Cat therapy was administered by the state and included two weeks rehab before reassignment to another family. Since being a cat sharer was mandated, every one of those displaced by the unconsciousness of the keeper found a home. The ABC's of Higher Consciousness Attitude--Expectant or repellant; positive or negative; open or closed to Life; and embracing as differentiated from resisting; healing or declining; We can get better or get bitter. Make it a nice day! Breath--Let the exhale demonstrate the complete surrender to God/Universe of all cares and concerns; becoming non-resistant to the tensions of the body, relaxing the cells, molecules and atoms. Consciously directing our breathing throughout your day re-minds us of our spiritual nature, and is a boost to health and energy. Choice—We either listen to the voice for Love or the voice for Fear, that of ego. One knows that all are innocent; the other blames and sees the guilty. The choice is ours:
Determination--Nothing happens without our dedicated effort. Even something as simple as breathing requires our participation. To achieve more in life, there must be more invested. Usually all that is required is the gift of time. Let’s give it to ourselves. Energy--All is energy vibrating at different rates. Each lives, moves and has its being in this Energy. It is called Soul, Creator/Source, God, Universe, All That Is. IT is bigger than can be imagined. Focus--What we focus upon grows. Focus upon
Our deepest dream is of unity, enlightenment, experiencing oneness, realization, actualization, transcendent consciousness--and not of material things. This is why when we get them, achieve, and succeed, we hunger for more. The most helpful dream is to achieve enlightenment. It continues after awakening. Freedom—In our soul we are free. The challenge is to bring that freedom fully into our life through management of our energy. Our beliefs create our emotions and inform our health. What is required is individual to each of us; yet the path is similar as we ask, what beliefs would be required to produce a life of freedom, grace and ease —and adopt them. Grace--There is a never-ending flow of grace awaiting our awareness so that: Life is more joyous, and the bumps on the path become less disruptive as we learn/remember/awaken into higher mind, beyond that of egoic consciousness. Full Wave Breathing can make the journey easier than ever before. Think of grace as effortless growth through your connection with joy. Heaven or Hell—We get to choose which state to engage. If, as the master teachers say, “Heaven is within,” why don’t we going there more often to visit? What would happen if we devoted (consecrated) 100 breaths each day to do so? Who among us dares not find out? Integrity—Being whole and complete is the essential nature of each individual--the potential seeking expression. What would happen if we each dedicated the next 100 Full Wave Breaths to feeling our wholeness, our integrity? Joy—The vibration of Joy takes us out of person-ality and is the product of our connection with unity. Becoming a Joy finder in all that you we do, making it part of our daily and life mission, calls us forward into greater life. The path to Joy is the dedication of life--our life, all life--to the good of all. Kindness--Considered as one of the seven virtues, opposites of the seven deadly sins, Kindness is being helpful to one in need for the advantage of the person helped. It is treating the other as self, expressing our deeper connection and responding from the heart. Kindness is caring in action. Love—The substrate of being, the underlying nature of the unified field, the interconnectedness of all life and the unquestioning regard for all living expression. Multiplicity—The nature of the One is manifest in multiplicity. Imagine each choice giving rise to an alternate universe—All That Is encompassing every possibility. The mind cannot hold it all or decide amongst the choices. The inner battle is won when the mind defers to the heart’s wisdom. Natural—It is natural for the body to heal itself when the impediments and blocks to healing are removed. You are already whole and complete as a being. You are naturally your best self. Nothing more is required than to be natural. To become natural usually requires removing the unnatural—the ego thoughts and programs of lack and limitation. Opportunity—Each moment brings us the choice to serve the ego or the true self. You can usually tell which choice you made by the way you feel. Are you calm and filled with peace? If not, as the Course in Miracles says, choose again. Take a few Full Wave Breaths, affirm that you serve the true self and continue with what you were doing. Doing so is a reminder that you are already whole and complete and, if you were serving the ego, had simply gone temporarily insane. It is no big thing, for with even one conscious breath to power your intention to be your best self, you are back on track and leaving the thoughts of worry and regret or anxiety and tension. Enjoy yourself! (Pump joy INTO your self) Purpose—What if your purpose in life as a divine being was Joy—its embracement and expression? What if you had been born with a virtually unlimited capacity for joy and your culture had taught you to suppress it? Then all you would have to do to regain or recapture it would be to acknowledge and express it. What if joy were already inside of you, at the core of each cell? Then all you’d need to do to fulfill your purpose would be to relax and allow the joy within to guide your outer activities. How to do this is simple: Just Breathe!...and then do the next thing. Query—The path is strewn with debris—old ideas handed down without experience. Dogma and unproven belief are potholes and cracks in the pavement to be avoided on our path. Over time they can become sinkholes, swallowing up the spiritual student and denying the light. Find out for yourself. Put teaching and techniques to the test in the laboratory of your own life. Otherwise you cannot know and eventually must be betrayed by the immortalized words of the unknowing who, believing, blundered blindly ahead. Have your beliefs been given you to control, enroll or enslave? Challenge them. Regeneration—literally a new birth is given for the asking with each breath. More than the replacement of tissue or the growing of a lost limb, regenerations is a change of heart spoken of in the Bible as a passing from death to life. It occurs naturally when individual life is dedicated to spiritual instead of ego purpose. Spiritual purpose is love and dedication to It’s experience and practice bestows a renewal of the mind or quickening. Breathe the idea of regeneration fully into you body and see how it feels to you. Let your experience in “putting on” this idea be your guide as to its value in your life. Repeat often. Spirit—is all That Is. Manifesting as Life, Spirit informs us. Contacting and living from the inner spirit was once the responsibility of every member of every tribe and contributed to the whole. It was also the only way to stay alive. Later the connection to and study of spirit was accorded to those who led cloistered lives, the sainted figures in history and those who received initiation. Now it is open to all who choose to follow such a pursuit, bestowing peace, love and joy for its practitioners. Breathe with the idea of remembering your connection with Spirit and test its benefit in the laboratory of your own life. What do you let into your consciousness? What is your Daily Intake of Everything (DIET)? Does your life energize or drain you? Where does it drain you? What negative or limited belief do you hold to create such a condition that allows you to become drained from it? What would be the opposite, expansive or positive belief that, if you substituted it, would stop the debilitating effect? Make that belief into an affirmation and before reading further, take ten Full Wave Breaths as you repeat the phrase in your mind. Allow your belly to swell outward and your chest to expand sideways in acceptance of the new belief. Anchor the new feeling into your body. Repeat until you get over your self and into your Self. All that is required is to put Full Wave Breathing to work. Repeated over time, the seemingly miraculous occurs. The Just Breathe! ezine expresses a view of the mindbodysoul aspects of holistic health. It is a monthly newsletter for the awakened and awakening--who know themselves to be multidimensional (energetic, divine sparks) beings with physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects. Researcher Dr. David Hawkins points out that to increase awareness even a little is significant because growth is logarithmic rather than linear. Having awakened to, become cognizant of, the process of awakening, the usual next step is to heal the physical level. Otherwise energy that could be utilized at another level of being is expended on maintenance of the body. Healing may or may not involve a “cure” for any condition. The healing step enables the individuated soul to more freely express creativity and joy. Each “healee” then becomes the source-connection of transformation for others. The lower body, housing the gut brain, is harmonized with the head/heart, operating as one. The vibratory effect upon others is harmonious, uplifting and, in-turn, transformative. One-by-one, each part of the whole—represented by the individual-- sounds his note until music abounds.

Wave Breathing, among a host of alternatives, is the single, most important
exercise for our life and whole health. Those who use it regularly feel better
and more alive. My chosen job is to train joy generators, individuals who seek to be avenues of healing and upliftment to the world around them. The by- product of being a joy generator is that you live in the flow of life, balanced and harmonious in your world. Isn’t it really your mission to pursue joy—the soul connection with life? Once you get the joy part, you then have a new mission to spread the joy. Joy generators are much needed. Today. Oh, by the way, joy comes from living in the now, neither pulled into the past by guilt and regret nor thrust into the consideration of the future in worry and anxiety. There are 3 Steps to Joy
Focusing in the present using the breath is an easy way to be constantly re-minded of our nature as spiritual beings. Observe your cat or dog as breathing takes place. I use this term instead “enlightenment” to describe what happens when you realize you are part of the One—actually the One—looking out from the personal identity eyes. It is not that you ignore pain. Do get out of pain first. If you have a condition, take care of it. Get the help you need. And do ask inside. Pose your question about your condition is your mind: Mindbody, what do I need to do about _______? Then Full Wave Breathe for 15 minutes and note your insights and answers. We are taught to see difference. Learning to see oneness, the problems in relationships begin to disappear. If all is God, what is not Self? BREATHE! We are either part of the solution or part of the problem. Yes, we are innocent, and we either teach joy and love or yes, we are part of the problems facing the world. Deciding to radiate an uplifting energy, we become a contributor to the health and well being of planetary life. Surrender:
This is not to say that we disregard mind completely. For in order to achieve stability, common sense in the third dimension world is just as important to making things happen as is the flow of our intuitive perception. Detachment is the opposite of not caring. It is because we do care—about our well being and peace of mind—that we keep an open mind, remembering that things DO work out for our best interest in the long run. Full Wave Breathing is a natural, drug-free, and dramatically effective way to experience health, joy and aliveness that mobilizes and supports your progression toward balance and wholeness. It is a method which accelerates and complements modern healthcare and treatment practices. Use it to inspire yourself so you can inspire others! The Single Most Important Exercise is Full Wave Breathing There are 3 Steps, simple as A B C: Abdomen, Belly, and Chest. First, breathe into the lower abdomen and keep your focus there until you can comfortably fill and relax that area of the body. Use your muscles to expand your lower abdomen, beginning at the top or your pubic bone. Second, after filling the abdomen (A) shift your focus to your entire belly (B) or midsection, stretching and distending your diaphragm and ribs as you inhale. Relax everything as you exhale. Use your muscles to push out the lower abdomen, then expand the area just above. Third, filling A & B, shift your focus to your chest (C) and above. Having expanded the lower portions of the body, stretch up into the chest and back. Make all of your physical movements gentle and slow. All the movement to become very subtle and gentle as you alternately inhale and exhale without pause. You may find it more comfortable to begin with distinct movements of your body. Allow the process to become like a dance of movement from bottom to top, top to bottom. Later, allow your body to remain completely relaxed as you visualize the movement of energy through you. Repeat often for the most dramatic results. For more detailed instruction, read below: Step One of Full Wave Breathing Place one hand on the abdomen below the navel and the other on the chest. As you inhale, hold the chest still; allowing the abdomen to expand as if you is filling a balloon. Stretch and extend the lower belly. Relax completely into an inhale at the point where the abdomen is distended fully and the lungs are filled. After exhaling, inhale immediately. The chest does not move at all. Continue breathing with no pause between inhales and exhale. All of the emphasis is upon your inhale. The exhale is a release of the tension created during your inhale. So you will Inhale and relax...inhale...and relax. Continue as you read this instruction to see how simple it is to perform. Breathe through your nose or mouth as you desire. You increase oxygenation by over 50% when you breathe through your mouth because of the normal restriction in nostril breathing. Close your eyes as you are breathing and then relax for a few minutes when you are done. Allow your breathing to normalize before continuing with your activities. You may perform this exercise while sitting at the computer, riding in the car, or even watching television. Start practicing this exercise today and you'll be pleased with your result! To help you stay focused on your breathing, place a book or weighted bag on your lower abdomen when lying down and performing the exercise. If you are sitting, to keep your spine erect, imagine that a rope is attached to the middle of your head. The rope rises into the air. In your imagination, allow the rope to gently lift you up until your spine is erect. Sit straight, be open, and breathe. Step Two of Full Wave Breathing Continue breathing with no pause between inhales and exhale. Inhale and Relax...Inhale...and Relax. Count 1 as you inhale and expand your lower abdomen in Step One. Count 2 as you lengthen your inhale and push out the middle of your torso at the solar plexus. Release tension and allow the body to exhale and repeat. Perform this exercise anytime to relax. Do not perform connected breathing when driving or operating machinery. When lying down, place a pillow under your knees, not under your neck. When sitting, allow yourself to stretch and open your spine as you sit and breathe. Close your eyes as you breathe and then relax for a few minutes when you are done. Allow your breathing to normalize and return to your tasks. Step Three of Full Wave Breathing Continue breathing with no pause between inhales and exhales. Inhale and relax...Inhale...and relax. Count 1 as you inhale and push out your lower abdomen. Count 2 as you raise the breath and energetic focus to your solar plexus. Count 3 as you move your breath and muscular focus up into your chest, stretching your intercostal muscles, shoulders and back of the neck. Relax completely when you exhale, allowing the muscles to soften. There is no effort or tension involved in your exhale. Close your eyes as you breathe and then relax for a few minutes when you are done. Allow your breathing to normalize before continuing with your activities. Perform this exercise anytime you are sitting passively to provide a quick and effective energy boost and relaxation. Keep your spine straight if sitting and allow to your body to move as you breathe and relax. Feel the wave of inhale as air enters your body and the wave of exhale as it leaves. Increase the volume of air and pace of breathing and feel how it affects your experience. Since resolving stress at the cellular level is below our awareness, there are times when the breathing is accompanied by laughing or crying as old chemistry breaks up. Simply keep breathing! Allow your body any movement that arises and remember to relax fully when you exhale, softening all your muscles. Continue breathing at your own pace, deeply and fully. Maintain your own pace and be willing to experiment. Your pace will normally change from day to day and during a session of Full Wave Breathing. Playing music as you breathe helps keep you focused in a gentle rhythm. The Cosmic Waltz, offered by Inspired Living, is the best I know of for this purpose.
