Imagine a solar flare—an eruption from the sun and ejection of a ball of energy larger than our Earth into space. In addition to disrupting satellite communications, there is a surge within the human organism as well. From the material view, this energetic affects the human (and other) bodies stirring emotions, especially those associated with fire—anger, resentment and revenge. From the cosmic view this energetic is reflective of the internal process within each human. Both are valid perspectives and, as all of 2008 is also a wind cycle, the fires are easily spread. At the level of your or my body it is increasingly important to daily reestablish our equilibrium and expand our capacity for handling stress. Yep—our friend Full Wave Breathing can be called and relied upon to assist us in the process.
Continue practicing Full Wave Breathing and you hear both the voice or fear and doubt (ego) and that of spirit within (Ego). As you breathe and “play” each voice in your head you can feel which voice to listen to; which one’s direction to follow. How simple can it be? There are increasing two worlds from which to choose. Entering one—even in thought—causes decreased energy flow and discomfort. The other increases energy and feels right. It’s your choice! It is also you choice whether
or not to practice your breathing—to keep your mindbodyspirit system open and
responsive to life. It is a simple thing isn’t it? And if it were as easy as
writing about it, then writing about it wouldn’t be required more than once. The
ego “stuff” naturally arises as you breathe fully, for it was initially created
when you shut off your breathing. You “solved” the emotional issue at the time
by shutting down. Now you re-solve the issue—stored for many years—by opening to
the feeling avoided for so long and integrating it through the use of your
breath. Repeated over time, this exercise enhances clarity and creativity. You are not your emotions. Isn’t it time to unload the baggage and step into your power (in the present) instead of dragging around your past? As usual I don’t ask you to believe me and I do ask you to see for yourself. 30 days of this activity of your Full Wave Breathing for ½ hour daily with an intention of Joy will produce personal transformation? Who will you be? More or your real self. Simple formula: do the work=get the result! What If It Was As Simple As Remembering To Just Breathe! ...and to doing the next thing? What if the Universe was only awaiting your move into states of mind-body-spirit harmony to produce greater joy and aliveness? IF No gulf actually exists between your life and God's life, except for your awareness of yourself, what then? What if there was no time or space existing between you and God's life? If that were true, then only the level of awareness from which you were living would determine whether you understand the unity or not. That means the task is not to try to change things in time and space, but to bring yourself back into the moment where the possibility of this relationship already exists. What you now see with increasing frequency are ads for shows flashed at you, scenes shown in rapid succession complete with bright lights and displays of violence. These are supposed to make you desire to watch the drama being advertised. Does it work? You bet it does or the millions of dollars spent to brain wash viewers would not endure. So, yes, you can continue to watch television for “relaxation” and retaining full awareness of your being targeted as a consumer. Continue to mute the commercials and practice connected breathing. During commercials, breathe! This allows you to retain your sanity while the latest promo for American Idyll is being directed at you or while you are staying tuned for scenes from next week’s show. Television can be used to uplift consciousness rather than dumb it down, and while the presentations that actually aim to accomplish that particular goal are few in number, you can find them. Think of it as panning for gold—and be prepared to sift a lot of sand. Yet there is a hidden benefit explained in the next article—so, for a moment, stay tuned in. Television watching can also enable you to check into the mood and pulse of the country—so long as you make allowance for media bias and the unending promotion for profit that takes place. There is nothing, per se, injurious or inharmonious about television watching so long as you retain control over the process. And how do you do that? Remain awake and aware and…Just Breathe! Watching Television as A Transformational Experience If you see the happenings of the world as the result of people being asleep and unaware, innocent and uneducated, ‘your ego probably won’t get much from the experience. If you see people acting in ways that you judge to be stupid or evidence of mental defect or instability, then you a being given a glimpse of your ego at work. What happens is that we project our own unconsciousness upon the screen and the characters who appear before us in the news, comedies or dramas displayed for our “entertainment.” If aware, operating from the “watcher mode,” we can see our own unconsciousness at work—in the form of judgment, opinion and projection. If asleep, we will just see other people acting out our own stuff. If awake, we have the opportunity to expand our compassion for the human condition and extend forgiveness and love. Remember this as you watch and Breathe!
The training wheels are your inhale and exhale. That’s right; you can use your breathing to keep you on track. First you open up the body, restoring circulation and oxygenating cells, tissues and organs. Then you use your breathing to engage your feeling body so you can empower your emotions in behalf of goals. Now you are ready to train the mind and can more effectively use affirmation and imagery by combining them with your breathing. It sounds simple, and it is. It is also easy. Follow the steps, gaining energy and confidence as you go, and you’ll reach your destination. It’s an easy 30 days to a new you. Eavesdropping on a Conversation—continued He had met Paul and his wife Carly at the Unity bookstore. They were giving a free presentation—love offering only—on the wisdom of the Tarot—and were going to lead a workshop on Saturday afternoon. He attended and the trio connected immediately. Paul was an esoteric teacher providing information on the spiritual journey and the use of the abilities that arose as a natural result and consequence of that journey. Paul and Carly were housepainters when not teaching. They did both the inside and outside and Carly was an expert wall paper hanger. She was also very interested in finding and following the healthiest dietary guidelines and he was more the mystic, given to long periods of meditation and refining his presentation developing light and sound to enhance his effectiveness. The two of them traveled across the country, generally residing a brief period of time in one of the major cities where they could ply their trade with people of like interest. They usually began their visits at the Unity Church of Christianity and, to a lesser degree, with the Unitarian Universalists as they connected with like-hearted souls. They’d stay in a place for three or so months, then move on to the next spot. They had a cat with double thumbs named, what else?—Thumbs--who rode as a passenger in their car as if it were the most natural thing for a cat to be doing. She had her box on the rear floor tucked in behind the front passenger seat. While this presented a challenge to back-seat entrants, the arrangement appeared to work well for the cat. For anyone that has never traveled with a cat this sort of box arrangement is an all-important consideration. Paul was also a member of a musical group that had originated on the West Coast and now was reconstituted along the East Coast. The Order of Orpheus as they called themselves after the god who created music, produced strange harmonies that evoked feelings of ease and relaxation among listeners. This occurred at a time when new age music hadn’t yet been labeled. It was also not yet well known among average people that music has such powerful psychotropic powers, influencing mood and altering internal biochemistry. Surely, however, that knowledge was intuited as demonstrated by the great attraction for many to rock groups during the 60’s and 70’s. Music’s charms and the capability to powerfully influence the human organism would be used in the early 20th century to embolden the masses and send them forth on warrior quests. Later in the century, songs of love and peace would influence millions. Then new, electronic instruments would be used for both traditional expressions and what could be called the new dissonance. This would disrupt nervous system processes and enhance suggestibility in the undiscerning consciousness of global youth. Digital sounds would also company video games and other forms of entertainment for the unwary. Paul had himself been a student of sacred geometry as well as music and had found the correspondences and relationships between mathematics, the harmony of the spheres and the esoteric teachings. Paul was a Jew also trained in Kabala that he related in his workshops and teachings. Paul taught of the “god within,” long known and with a diverse teaching of how to contact it and bring it forth for the benefit of the world. Later day perspectives with forgiveness and love as the core were included along with rituals both recorded and those handed down only in oral communication. He remembered Paul and Carly with fondness as two of his teachers along the way and breathed himself into his light body for travel. This time, he would meet with another of his teachers from the mental realms who held one of the twelve dimensional rays that create the etheric webbing of the planet. (to be continued) Breathe THIS way, the Full Wave way, for awhile—never mind what you did before. Afterward see that you find yourself in a more receptive and prayerful state. What more proof do you need? Breathe and Grow Rich Reminder How is breathing connected with getting rich? It’s all about energy and having extraordinary physical energy directly influences emotional, mental and spiritual energy. They are all needed for extraordinary productivity. How can one expect to ignore the demands that the human body makes every day? You can’t. Are healthier, happier employees more productive? Of course. In a time of dwindling global energy in the form of oil there is also a dwindling of human energy owing to growing stressors. Ignoring the problem of human energy is a sure formula for personal economic decline. The remedy? You read about it every month. What exactly to do about it is revealed in depth in Breathe and Grow Rich. You can’t expend more energy than you create. This truth included human energy. Individual energy crises require a person have the ability to participate in his own life, the workplace and society. Doc, I understand you said that breathing is the most important exercise. Is that true? Thank you.-- Wanting to Understand Dear Wanting to Understand, What I said was that Full Wave Breathing is the single most important exercise. I didn't say "breathing". This is particularly so because 80-90% of people have impaired breathing and doing more of it simply compounds their problems. So if you do something that is not good for you, the solution is NOT to do more of it. ‘’ From the Edge views the appearance of a progressive unfoldment of humanity awakening to its Self. Will this unfoldment lead in a full-circle to where it once more becomes each person’s duty in life and their greatest joy, to live to the fullness of their potential? What part will you play? The Intellectual Enlightenment was a time in history in Europe and the US from 1690 to 1730 that was the foundation of the US Bill of Rights as from this point on, thinkers and writers were held to be free to pursue the truth in whatever form, without the threat of sanction for violating established ideas. Today we see a reverse trend taking place. Once lobbied for and set in print, the provision of and advertising of medical services was assigned to a select group of individuals receiving narrow training in methods of poisoning the body in hopes of affecting a cure, cutting out an offending part or injecting a toxic substance to ward off illness that might otherwise be handled quite capably by the body’s own immune function. In other words, you are being forced, coerced, hypnotized into having one kind of health care that is really sickness diagnosis. Insurance is a must within the system because the procedures are often complicated and expensive or the risk of mishap is so high (malpractice and medical error). Yet the insurance often does not pay for the services required that might assist in a healing outcome.
You are being asked to trust the same people who mislead you about tobacco addiction, butter, children’s cough syrup, cholesterol and sugar substitutes. And never mind what is in your water! No, personally, I don’t have health insurance, choosing to drive carefully, and not engage in activities that might produce accident or injure. Also, the body is fed judiciously, exercised appropriately and enjoys a harmonious balance between stress and recovery. Prior to learning self-care after leaving the corporate job, the body was still a participant in insurance with regular check-ups and experiencing colds, flu, shots, and being fed according to the Standard American Diet (SAD). After learning that it is the condition of the inner terrain that determines outer health, I began a several year program of cleansing, progressively refining the diet and eliminating toxins. It has been 30 years since beginning the process and just a couple of years ago at age 66 I finally gave in to having a colonoscopy. The physician said it was the cleanest colon he’d ever seen and to come back in 30 years. The body houses viruses and bacteria. When everything is working well, old ones die and new ones are created in harmony. The eliminative functions take care of the waste and health is maintained. Upset the internal balance however—thought, word or deed—and the integrity of the system is threatened. Chronic, ceaseless stress configures inner chaos resulting in illness and disease. Yet you don’t have to go through all of this. You, the spiritual being can minimize the need for insurance and take preventative measures to avoid disease by properly feeding, exercising and watering your physical animal. Give it a rest daily, ideally 20 minutes before you mount up in the morning and 20 minutes when you dismount at the end of the day. The best way to do this is to breathe it. Your physical animal will thank you. Advice on insurance? I don’t give it. How are your genes; what is your cumulative exposure to toxins; what’s going on in your mind, body and soul? Life is complicated and only you have the answers you need for the future. Why should I listen to you? Good question. Think of me as a part of you that has the time and interest to pursue matters of health and life enrichment and save you time, energy, money, and effort by sharing the results of my research in books, programs, workshop, and inner explorations. My regular life ended at 39 when I was diagnosed as having a condition that was to become terminal in two years. I wanted another opinion; and thus visited energy healers and nutrition experts. Yet rather than look within, most people prefer to look outward for divine wisdom, thus maintaining a dependence upon a vast hierarchy that stretches between the individual and the Divine. In all our wanderings away from the Divine, humankind has obscured its most compelling features through a persistent belief in limitations arising out of the controlling mechanisms of this hierarchy. The Divine dances outside of the confines of any hierarchical structures. It is complete within itself, and has a singular purpose of demonstrating the collective potential of all life within the universe. It is the archetype of perfection. It is the standard bearer of each soul's innate design and ultimate destiny. The essence of the Divine is so far beyond mental conception that humanity’s tendency is to resort to the limiting language of the hierarchical paradigm to define it. The Hierarchical Paradigm: Searching for Connection and Wholeness When people are unaware of their inner wisdom and wholeness, they tend to search for order and security outside themselves. Uncertain of their place within the hierarchical order of the world, they define themselves based upon their insecurities. Individuals thus become only pieces of their wholeness and like shards of glass from a beautiful vase, they bear little resemblance to their aggregate beauty. Within the hierarchy, many in high positions of power have taken advantage of our collective insecurities in attempting to guide the development of all humankind. They have obscured the direct connection between the individual and the Divine through a variety of means designed to intercede between our inner essence and our divine source. Each individual can come to know themselves to be free of all forms of hierarchical control. This is not to imply that we should not trust others or join together in bonds of friendship and community. It is simply a reminder that relative truth is constantly shifting in the hands of those who desire to control. And even when the motive for their controlling behaviors may be of good will, it is still a form of control. When the revealers of "truth" within the hierarchy withhold and suppress information, they are usually positioning themselves to acquire and maintain power rather than to disseminate empowerment to all. To illustrate: If we are experiencing fear, then fear is what we are magnetically attracting by putting the same energy out. If we feel support out there in our urban jungle, then others feel that energy flowing from us. When our soul entered the earth plane, we each decided there were experiences necessary for our advancement. It is frequently past fears that we must confront and transmute. Then ego and psyche are congruent and harmonious. Please be aware that we create our dissenter or adversarial roles. We establish for ourselves the dynamic with the one we face repeatedly until we remember that we created this dissenter. We are never the victims of it. We will come to understand in this realm that all energies are negative, positive, or neutral. (It is the neutral part that most of us forget is also an option.) We face the same fear, the same adversary, the same enemy, until we remember that the perceived enemy is only some facet of ourselves that we chose to face through our interactions with another as our reflection. THE ADVERSARY IS OUR EXPERIENCE OF CONFRONTING THE FEAR THAT WE CREATED. THE PURPOSE OF THE CREATION IS TO MOVE US TO HARMONY AND LOVE. (Concluded next month) Your Healthy Heart (continued from last month) Traditional medicine as currently practiced examines sick people and works very hard to fix them. Natural medicine examines the principles embodied in well people and learns from them. One of the first things you would learn is that happier people are generally healthier and have healthier hearts. They create more abundance, have better relationships and enjoy better health. It works the other way around, too. Healthier people have more energy with which to create abundance, participate in life, and enjoy the company of other people. It’s a cycle of health that feeds itself to keep a person feeling energetic and constantly renewed regardless of physical age. Your Healthy Heart teaches you how to initiate this cycle of health and keep it going. Traditional medicine alone is inadequate, because you are much more than a mechanical body. Surgery and synthetic medicines are drastic measures; there are other less extreme, less invasive measures available to you to keep you healthy without causing disturbing and disabling side effects. In this book, the focus is upon your heart for a very good reason. The heart is much, much more than a pump. It is at the center of your body and the core of your very being. Did you know that your heart produces ten times the electromagnetic field of any other organ? This is important for you to know, because after all, you are an energetic being. There are three realms to your physical existence: the physical, the non-physical, and the spiritual. You have a physical body made of cells and atoms, comprised of bones, skin, blood, organs, hormones, and so much more. Energetic vibrations from the spiritual realm are attracted to the soul and coalesce into physical matter, sparked by Life. You breathe in spiritual essence, bringing oxygen to the blood that pumps through your heart and feeds every part of your body. Traditional medical methodology approaches heart disease based on Newtonian physical principals. Yet, because we also live in a non-physical world, the endless analysis, naming of symptoms and looking to constituent DNA yield only partial answers. In the meantime, heart disease and stroke increase their grip on an aging population. The non-physical world of thought and emotions are important aspects of your health often overlooked by doctors trained in specialized uses of drugs and surgery. Drugs and surgery have their place in symptomatic remedy and repair. However, in no way are they the ultimate answer. A long-term, real solution requires that a much broader scope be taken into account beyond just treating a collection of physical symptoms. Needless complication makes it difficult for the average consumer to know what to do for their heart. Drugs, even when they work, frequently have disabling or life-threatening side effects. There are usually natural substances that work much more gently, without destroying other parts or systems of your body. The non-physical world understandings of quantum physics, invisible particles and non-linear dynamics have important information for all who value their health. The latest sciences of psychoneuroimmunolgy (PNI) and psychobiology reveal how all parts of the mind-body system are interconnected and in constant communication. Because each part of your whole mind-body system is connected, what benefits your heart health automatically benefits your overall health. A heart-healthy approach to daily living staves off not only heart disease but also other physical ailments, as well as the perhaps more elusive but equally significant ailments of the mind and conditions. Whole heart-healthy living can reduce depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and similar illnesses. Knowing how the organs, cells and molecules communicate enables you to stimulate powerful healing responses within your mind-body. Then, taking self-loving action, you begin to feel better. People notice that you look and act younger. Your mood improves and you have energy for all that you want to do. In addition, within what is called the “non-local field” you are in constant connected communication with other energy fields, including the individual energies of other people. Learning how the field works gives you powerful tools in your relationship with others. Use them for your health, wealth and happiness. You are one who recognizes that though you cannot control how others act, you directly contribute to the emotional energy of a situation. Having awakened to, become cognizant of, the process of awakening, the usual next step is to heal the physical level. Otherwise a great deal of energy that could otherwise be utilized at another level of being is expended on maintenance of the body. Healing may or may not involve a “cure” for any condition. The healing step enables the individuated soul to more freely express creativity and joy. Each “healee” then becomes the source-connection of transformation for others. The lower body, housing the gut brain, is harmonized with the head/heart, operating as one. The vibratory effect upon others is harmonious, uplifting and, in-turn, transformative. One-by-one, each part of the whole—represented by the individual-- sounds his note until music abounds.

I use this term instead of the one more often thrown about, “enlightenment.” Personal realization is what happens when you realize you are part of the One—actually the One—looking out from the personal identity eyes. The task, after having such an awakening, epiphany or illumination, is to live from that glimpse of conscious awareness full time or to “make real” the awareness. People who take our workshops often report such awakening or enlightening experiences. Then, as is inevitable since we are in bodies for a purpose, the euphoria passes and we are once again confronted with our daily lives. The stressors have not disappeared. Hopefully, however, the insights gained in such moments enable us to embrace life with more love and less reaction. Yeah, don’t we wish! Too often, the weekend ends, and tomorrow is rush hour again, tugs on mommy’s skirt and the pressures of hunting down the next meal. How is a person supposed to deal? As you have learned there is no “supposed to.” Each one of us is already well-equipped to deal with our lives. The solution, as you continue to be reminded, is simple: Just Breathe! and then do the next thing. So I am hoping you’ll continue to be a member of the IBI (say those three letters aloud 3 time and see how it feels) community. If you like, I won’t refer to you as a heavy breather. Besides I’d rather know you as a conscious soul. My job? If you don't take care of
your own health you become a participant in what is known as It is not that you ignore pain. Do get out of pain first. If you have a condition, take care of it. Get the help you need. And do ask inside. Pose your question about your condition is your mind: Mindbody, what do I need to do about _______? Then Full Wave Breathe for 15 minutes and note your insights and answers. It usually doesn’t even take that long before you get an answer and achieve understanding of what steps to take. How would you treat illness if it was not your enemy, and was instead only a message concerning stressors in your mind and body? Most likely you would cooperate with the body using principles based upon natural health. The first place to begin is with the basic foundation of life, your breathing. Our mind and body work well until overloaded with stressors accumulating in cells and tissues. Chronic stress then makes us become a shallow breather, wearing down the immune system. Blood becomes toxic, and lacking oxygen and energy, the body is unable to defend itself against either internal or environmental stressors. Determination--Nothing happens without our dedicated effort. Even something as simple as breathing requires our participation. To achieve more in life, there must be more invested. Usually all that is required is the gift of time. Let’s give it to ourselves. Energy--All is energy vibrating at different rates. Each lives, moves and has its being in this Energy. It is called Soul, Creator/Source, God, Universe, All That Is. IT is bigger than can be imagined. Focus--What we focus upon grows. Focus upon
Freedom—In our soul we are free. The challenge is to bring that freedom fully into our life through management of our energy. Our beliefs create our emotions and inform our health. What is required is individual to each of us; yet the path is similar as we ask, what beliefs would be required to produce a life of freedom, grace and ease —and adopt them. Grace--There is a never-ending flow of grace awaiting our awareness so that: Life is more joyous, and the bumps on the path become less disruptive as we learn/remember/awaken into higher mind, beyond that of egoic consciousness. Full Wave Breathing can make the journey easier than ever before. Think of grace as effortless growth through your connection with joy. Heaven or Hell—We get to choose which state to engage. If, as the master teachers say, “Heaven is within,” why don’t we going there more often to visit? What would happen if we devoted (consecrated) 100 breaths each day to do so? Who among us dares not find out? Integrity—Being whole and complete is the essential nature of each individual--the potential seeking expression. What would happen if we each dedicated the next 100 Full Wave Breaths to feeling our wholeness, our integrity? Joy—The vibration of Joy takes us out of person-ality and is the product of our connection with unity. Becoming a Joy finder in all that you we do, making it part of our daily and life mission, calls us forward into greater life. The path to Joy is the dedication of life--our life, all life--to the good of all. Kindness--Considered as one of the seven virtues, opposites of the seven deadly sins, Kindness is being helpful to one in need for the advantage of the person helped. It is treating the other as self, expressing our deeper connection and responding from the heart. Kindness is caring in action. Love—The substrate of being, the underlying nature of the unified field, the interconnectedness of all life and the unquestioning regard for all living expression. Multiplicity—The nature of the One is manifest in multiplicity. Imagine each choice giving rise to an alternate universe—All That Is encompassing every possibility. The mind cannot hold it all or decide amongst the choices. The inner battle is won when the mind defers to the heart’s wisdom. Natural—It is natural for the body to heal itself when the impediments and blocks to healing are removed. You are already whole and complete as a being. You are naturally your best self. Nothing more is required than to be natural. To become natural usually requires removing the unnatural—the ego thoughts and programs of lack and limitation. Opportunity—Each moment brings us the choice to serve the ego or the true self. You can usually tell which choice you made by the way you feel. Are you calm and filled with peace? If not, as the Course in Miracles says, choose again. Take a few Full Wave Breaths, affirm that you serve the true self and continue with what you were doing. Doing so is a reminder that you are already whole and complete and, if you were serving the ego, had simply gone temporarily insane. It is no big thing, for with even one conscious breath to power your intention to be your best self, you are back on track and leaving the thoughts of worry and regret or anxiety and tension. Enjoy yourself! (Pump joy INTO your self) Purpose—What if your purpose in life as a divine being was Joy—its embracement and expression? What if you had been born with a virtually unlimited capacity for joy and your culture had taught you to suppress it? Then all you would have to do to regain or recapture it would be to acknowledge and express it. What if joy were already inside of you, at the core of each cell? Then all you’d need to do to fulfill your purpose would be to relax and allow the joy within to guide your outer activities. How to do this is simple: Just Breathe!...and then do the next thing. Sit on the front edge of a chair or stand with your feet spaced shoulder width apart with your arms in front of you, palms facing down and hands relaxed. As you inhale through your nostrils, sniff once as you push your lower abdomen out and raise your arms in front of you level with your waist. With a second sniff, push out on your mid-section and, hands still relaxed, raise your arms to shoulder level. With a third sniff, fill the rest of your lungs with air, raising your arms with palms open and facing the ceiling or sky. Exhale through your mouth and contract your abdomen toward the spine. Perform this breath to a count of one-two-three on the inhale and one as you exhale. This breath stimulates and energizes the physical body. Continue for three minutes and see how you feel. Imagine your body increasing in brightness with each breath. Make it your intention to connect with unlimited energy as you breathe and visualize your entire body glowing brightly.
